Sign of Life - somtimes it gets in the way of writing

There's a famous quote in the movie Frankenstein where Dr. Henry Frankenstein says "Look! It's moving. It's alive. It's alive..." as his creation comes to life. This seems to be a rather appropriate quote as it applies to the Vociferous Void, my very own creation. Although there haven't been many updates in a long time (months), it still has a faint pulse and is still very much alive ("In the name of God!" says Victor Moritz). I would like to apologize for the lack of noise from the Void since the winter ended. Although it's not an excuse, sometimes life gets in the way of writing, and this summer life has been busy. However, the monster is stirring yet again, just in time for the onset of fall, so get your torches, and pitchforks and assemble into an angry mob in order to kill... err I mean, read some updates.

Summer Time - Waste it well with Signal Snowboards

For many, the summer months are a stop gap season. Although some will be lucky enough to head south of the equator to extend their winter (ahem, New Zealand 2011), to most winter sports enthusiasts, summer is a time to learn new sports, perfect less practiced ones, let the body heal, work on their tan, or even fill their brains with nonsense to talk about in the lift lines next winter. This summer, Signal Snowboards is stepping up to provide an assist in the shenanigans department with a new video series called Every Third Thursday.

POW Gloves - El presidente raps about gloves and horny underwear

In January, Dana and I decided to become a major nuisance at the SnowSports Industries of America trade show in Denver Colorado and we recorded most of it on video. Since the snow season is effectively over for me, and I have a little bit more spare time on my hands, so I decided to go through that video to see what we got. I came across a few nuggets which I thought would be good to share with the public at large including a few peaks at some of the stuff that's slated to come out for the 2010/11 snowboard season, including POW Gloves.

Expedition: Alaska - Chapter 1

While I was in Alaska for the World Freeride Festival (better known as Tailgate Alaska), I brought along a GoPro HD Hero camera to document the occasion. I wound up taking more than four hours of video footage while I was there — which might have been more were it not for dying batteries and filled up memory cards — so in the last few weeks I've been sorting through it and putting it together for your enjoyment. The following video is the first chapter of the Shred Labs: Expedition Alaska video series.
